Welcome to my website that outlines the professional house sitting and pet minding service I offer. Your animals are looked after in the comfort of their own home when you are not there. I carry out all the routines you normally do to make the least disruption for your pets and to maintain house security. In your absence I move into your house to provide you with the peace of mind that you will find everything as it was when you return. You can be sure that your animals are exercised, entertained, well cared for and happy whilst you are away.
I grew up with animals and reckon they are probably the best creatures on this planet. Back in 1991 whilst renting a cottage in the grounds of a manor house in South Oxfordshire I became friends with the guard dogs of the manor. One day there was a knock on the door, with the owner explaining that my services were needed. The family was going away to a wedding abroad, meaning that there was no-one to look after the dogs. Being guard dogs, kennels were obviously not an option. The owner was aware that I liked and knew the dogs and wrote out a list as long as my arm detailing instructions regarding each dog’s routine and the security aspects of the manor. A financial remuneration was agreed and that was where it all started. The dogs needed a lot of exercise and were a lot of fun to be with. The owners came back from the wedding knowing that everything at home was in order and I have happily returned there a number of times subsequently.
Since then by word of mouth and a little local advertising I have looked after many houses of various sizes within a ten mile radius of Wallingford. Most of these are regulars so it’s a case of what dates are available to try to fit everyone in. Once it is established that I am available for the dates you have in mind, I run through the details over the phone. If this is satisfactory for us both, I arrange to visit you. This way I can make sure that your animals are happy with me, that you are happy with everything and that I am happy. This normally takes about an hour to run through the details. I must stress that I have looked after a large number of different types of animals, some being domestic pets, some not so domesticated animals and I love them all. All the routines for each house and pet are different, making this a very personalised service both for you and your animals.

My insurance broker has set up public liability insurance at £5 million sum assured to cover me against various unlikely events.
